First Nations' Perspectives
'First Nations' Perspectives' is a specialist class ran from foundation to year eight. It focuses on the rich and diverse cultures, languages, and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their deep connection to Country, and their ways of life both before and after colonisation. We learn about the resilience and contributions of First Nations peoples to contemporary Australian society. This includes hearing First Nations' voices through stories, art, and music. The aim of this class is to encourage respectful understanding, reconciliation, and recognition of First Nations People's rights and perspectives.
